Welcome at The Optical Foundation
Welcome to the website of the foundation TOF or "The Optical Foundation.
The youth are the future. They are aware of it in Ghana. Currently there are more than three quarters of the children in Ghana participating in education. Much of this is hampered by poor visibility in its development.
The Optical Foundation works with the University of Cape Coast to access to eye care in Ghana, especially for children, by refractioning in schools and communities. Ghanaian optometry students help provide the refraction in order to gain practical experience and become specialists in their own country. If children need glasses, they can have them for a income-depended amount.
